Another beautiful day out there what a difference a bit of sunshine makes to the view of Dunster Castle, our local National Trust attraction.

Well worth a visit with or without your 4 legged friends. To just walk in the grounds and then along by the river to the packhorse bridge, as I regularly do, is free.

To visit the castle and formal gardens there is the usual entrance fee, unless you are a member of the National Trust, or a volunteer.

At the moment the castle is only open at weekends but all the details can be found on their website, it really is worth a visit.

Plenty of great places in Dunster for a cream tea afterwards too !
